Dan Brown's A Versatile Love
Over the past three years my love for you has grown strong
A perfect partner, I had searched for so long
Who else could complement all my personality traits
But farm raised lamb from the United States
The fiery passion of the apricot-habanera gastrique
Clashes with the cool cucumber tzatziki, a dichotomy truly unique
The jicama and apple slaw is a Jekyll to your hide
While my warmhearted mint pico de gallo is a source of pride
A dusting of cumin, coriander and turmeric are what we dream of
Ewe and my accoutrements wrapped in grilled Nan, a blanket of love
A decadent balance our relationship does consist
But when it comes to Ewe, I cannot wait for our next tryst
We heard from lots of fans who wanted to share their love for American Lamb!
Lamb is becoming once again a weekly pleasure rather than a holiday treat; lately I've discovered that it's grown around the corner at a farm a lot like the one I grew up on, so we locavores feel good about including it on our menu more frequently.
Such great flavor and good for you too, what's not to love about American lamb. So what better way to show your family you love them than by serving them a great tasting meal that is good for them. From the heart, to the heart and for the heart. That's why I love American Lamb
Dear American Lamb,
I just cannot live without you!! You occupy my thoughts every day. You are always fresh and healthy and are really low maintenance. Oh lamb, let's not ever part, we are such a great pair!!
I love lamb because it is so very, very splendid and special. No matter what the cut, from shanks to ribs, to roasts to ground, lamb is the very best of meats to be found.
The thing that I love most about American Lamb is the fact that I can get to know my farmer. Our local farmer's market has lamb most weeks, and you can talk to the farmers about the lamb, and know where it is coming from and how it lived.
Dear American Lamb,
I feel lucky that you are in my life and that you have offered me opportunities to share you with my friends, family and boyfriend. You are truly special and I know that whenever I eat a meal cooked with you, it is made with love and it is bound to be tasty.
How do I love American Lamb...Let me count the ways
I love thy kind, humane sheep husbandry practices
I love thy commitment to family-owned businesses and farms
I love that thy is hormone-free and
I love thy nutrient-rich lean source of healthy protein
I love thy role in the circle of life and commitment to maintaining a balance in the environment
Most of all I love thy rich, succulent spring-lamb flavor.
I love American lamb because it is my sweetheart's favorite meal, and puts him in a mellow, happy mood!
Whenever I see lamb on a menu, my eyes widen, my smile grows wider and my tastebuds awaken. I think a meal made from lamb means you're someone special. It means that extra care was taken to prepare the dish in front of you - so savor and enjoy every morsel, every delicious bite.
American Lamb is my favorite meat! Quick or slow, American Lamb is the way to go!
My wife and I, our four children, and four grandchildren all love lamb. We think it's one of the best meats to cook on the barbecue. Everyone we cook lamb for, especially people who say they "don't like lamb," are blown away by the perfectly cooked, medium-rare, moist and tender cuts we put on their plates. I'm on a personal crusade to dramatically increase American lamb consumption - ask my friends...
To my little lamb ~ You put a smile on my face whenever I think of you and your tenderness. Whenever we meet you give me such a warm, satisfied feeling in my tummy. You're very special to our family and we're happy to have you over for dinner all the time. Please stay as plump and juicy as you are.
I grew up in an ethnic home, my mom being Lebanese. Lamb has always been a frequent visitor to our family's dinner table. My mother was adamant it ALWAYS had to be American Lamb! If the supermarket had foreign lamb, she'd harrumph out of the store to the Lebanese butcher and get her some "real" lamb.
